In 2013, Magally Tejada was a single mother in Los Angeles, relying on government assistance to support herself and her son. Determined not to become another statistic, she made a choice that would change her life: to take responsibility for her future and rewrite her story.
She earned a corporate job with benefits and spent the next decade climbing the ranks. On paper, she seemed successful. But behind the resume was a different reality. There came a moment when she found herself short on rent and standing in line for a payday loan. With no one to turn to, she took a financial risk she knew could trap her further. That moment became a wake-up call, a clear reminder that financial security was never guaranteed and that she had to take control for herself and her son.
Every time she saved, an unexpected expense would set her back. Choosing between rent, food, and other basic needs became an exhausting cycle, one all too familiar to many women. She realized she had never been taught how to make money work for her.
When the pandemic began, Magally made a bold, decisive move. She downsized her life, reducing overhead, simplifying her lifestyle, and leaving California. She relocated to Oregon, choosing long-term stability over short-term comfort and creating the space she needed to rebuild with intention.
After relocating, Magally joined the insurance industry as a part-time agent, learning the business while continuing to work and rebuild. Early on, she sought guidance from experienced and successful financial business owners and quickly realized that who you learn from matters. Through focus, discipline, and determination, she was able to save $19,000, the most money she had ever saved in her life, which inspired her to invest in herself and her future.
Through discipline, education, and strategic partnerships, Magally advanced in the industry and is now the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Logos Wealth Management, bringing intention, character, heart, and a new voice to the financial services industry.
Today, Magally is dedicated to helping other women do the same. She empowers them with the knowledge, tools, and guidance to make confident financial decisions, build their own paths to success, and create lasting security for themselves and their families.
