Created by USAA, The National Military Monument opened in Washington, D.C., on July 28, honoring more than 41 million Americans who have served in the U.S. military over the past 250 years. Dr. Burns is among those being honored, with his name included as part of this historic tribute. Following an overwhelming response from service members, veterans, and military families, the monument will now remain on display through Veterans Day, November 11.
